Federation strikes shipping lanes!

A small convoy of ships escorted by fighters and a frigate are adjusting their course and will jump to hyperspace soon. Suddenly, a large cruiser came out of hyperspace and begins launching fighters.

The frigates moves to protect the convoy by placing themselves before the large crusier.

"Sir, the frigates are launching more fighters!" replied a sensor technican.

"Good, more kills for our fighters. Target that frigate and open fire. Have the fighters engage. Helm, move to intercept the lead freighter."

The crew quickly carries out the commander's orders. Most of them are Falleens, fighting under the Federation's banner. The war between the Core World Alliance has only begun and the commander was tasked to disrupt their supply chains.

The Federation fighters easily dogfighting the convoy's fighters and begin to rack up kills. The cruiser's turbolasers turn on the frigates and fire massive beam of laser, striking their shields. The frigate return fire but the cruiser's shield absorbs it with little damage.

A few salvos later, one of the frigate's shields begins to buckle as a few hits go directly to the ship's hull.

"Concentrate all fire on heavily damaged frigate, I don't want it to escape!" roared the commander.

All turbolaser headed toward the frigate and the shield collapsed. The ship begins to exhaust oxygens and other gases, along with fires. During that minute, escape pods are lauched and the ships begins exploding. the engines section exploded and the rest of the ship drifts away rapidly.

The fighters begin mopping up the remaining enemy fighters and a squadron of nearly full health fighters begin attacking the freighters.

"Sir, our scans indicate a couple of freighters are carrying military equipments and supplies."

"Excellent, send our troops to capture them!"

A bulky transport was launched a minute later and head toward one of the freighters that was disabled. Another freighter begins to blow up and the fighters have no one to stop them. The frigate and two other freighters jumped to hyperspace, the rest are trapped and defenseless.

"To all ships, stand down or be destroyed! This is your last warning!" boomed the victorious commander.

The freighters stopped and powered down their engines and awaits orders.

After each freighters are emptied, the cruisers jumped away, scoring a victory for the Federation.

The Xizor Cruisers are a threat to contend for all who oppose the Falleen Federation!
