Background: Amanda was raised by her maternal grandparents, after her mother and father were killed in a military action while trying to take out a regiment of enemies during the final battle of the Clone Wars. Amanda was only 5 years old when her mother and father died and her grandfather arrived at her home as he moved around the house backing her things, she began moving around with picking things up and handing them to her. Finally as he starched his hand out her he looked down his hawk like nose and said “Amanda your mother and father are gone, your coming to live with you grandmother and me. I promise that you will be well taken care of my dear. And one day you will command a fleet in the Imperial Navy.” He smiled down at her as she returned that smile and suddenly had visions of her standing next to her grandfather on the bridge of her own command ship in the fleet.

It wasn’t long after that she was taken to the laser pistol range with her grandmother and taught how to fire a laser pistol. After several years of practicing she has become quite the sharp shooter with her pistol.

Amanda also went many times on diplomatic missions with her grandmother so she could learn how to think as well as fight. As she grew her grandmother saw to her schooling, it was from her that Amanda learned how to negotiate to gain the advantage.

Amanda hadn’t waited long when she was of age to apply for the Imperial academy. The day after her grandmother and grandfather threw her a grand ball birthday party she was at the office filling out her application; it wasn’t long after that she got her acceptance and her Haley station assignment.
