PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Nyrat has a fairly average build, He would blend in well with a crowd. His primarily distinguishing feature is a large scar that runs between his eyes. He prefers to keep his hair short.
BACKGROUND: Nyrat was born to a noble family on agamar, his family owned the largest nerf ranch on the planet. He had an older brother and sister, who served the republic during the Clone Wars. His brother served in the navy the sister in the army. His brother died during a boarding action on the acclimator he served on. The sister was crippled during a battle on agamar; she would later die twenty years later when Nyrat was well into his career in the Imperial Navy.
Nyrat never went offworld until his eighteenth birthday, when he served onboard one of the family’s freighters. He served onboard the freighter for a year and a half, eventually becoming the primary navigator. He met a twi’lek who he later became engaged to, against his father’s wishes. His family would’ve disowned him were the freighter he served on was captured by pirates. The crew was butchered and his fiancée’ gutted before his eyes, the only reason Nyrat wasn’t killed was so the pirates could collect a ransom from his family.
His family never had to pay a ransom as Nyrat was rescued during an imperial raid on the pirate’s base. Nyrat walked away from that event with a deep hatred of pirates, bordering dangerously close to insanity, and a feeling of owing a great debt to the Empire. Five months later Nyrat joined the Imperial academy.
